Q: Are all those pretty ladies on your site
friends of yours?
A: Sure--In my dreams! No, actually I plucked them off the internet--Please
let me know if you see any copyright issues, okay?!
Q: Are there any charges to use your web site?
A: None, whatsoever. I DO receive compensation from some of the merchants I
have listed here. Many, however, pay nothing--I have them listed if I feel
they might be useful in our quest. Any funds received go directly to support
the site and help it grow (and to buy a bit of Jack Daniels from time to
time!).
Q: How old is your daughter and is she hot?
A: Heather's 26, 5'7", 120 #, with long blond hair--Not married, but
committed. She has to wear a wedding ring when she's out with her friends to
keep the guys from hitting on her--I'd say she's hot, in a girl next door
kinda way!
Q: Is that goofy looking guy at the top of the page you?
A: No! It's a picture I came across somewhere that I thought was a good, general representation of "everyman." Since this site is for all ages of men, I wanted an affable kinda guy that I thought we could all relate to--I also think he looks just as clueless as the rest of us!
Q: Are you the "STUD" in GiftSTUD?
A: Not even close! I wanted a name for the site that was unique and easy to remember and that seemed like a good choice. My original site was to be called "MyGirl," but when it came time to get the domain, MyGirlGiftGuide was the closest I could get--Heck, I had to think hard to even remember that one myself!
